ZOIPER SOFTPHONE NOW SUPPORTS T.38 FAX OVER IP

Zoiper 2.0 IAX & SIP softphone (previously known as Idefisk) now supports T.38 Fax over IP. Zoiper is a VoIP soft client, meant to work with Asterisk and SIP-capable IP-based communications systems and infrastructure.

Zoiper is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

• Implemented fax support;
• Implemented DTMF styles (RFC-2833 and SIP INFO) for SIP accounts;
• Implemented remote transfer requests option;
• Implemented strip dial characters option;

• Now calls are accepted with dial button instead of clicking on the line;

• Fixed a bug- no ringback on outgoing calls;
• Fixed a bug- output volume slider doesn't affect output volume;

• Changed permissions of /tmp/zoiper.pid in order any user to be able to remove it;
