What does the Thunderbitd integration add-on do?
The Thinderbird addon will let you dial your contacts directly from your Thunderbird addressbook.
The Thunderbird add-on is a BIZ feature. It is not available for Zoiper Free.
How to install the Thunderbird add-on?
Open Thunderbird and navigate to Tools -> Addons.
Click on the "tools for all add-ons" button on the top right hand side and choose Install Add-on from file..
Navigate to the installation directory of Zoiper and choose the file ZoiperCommunicatorExtension.xpi
Install the extension.
How to use the Thunderbird add-on?
When your mail client starts, open the AddressBook.
You will see a new button named Zoiper.
Select a contact and press the Zoiper button.
Your softphone will start and dial the number even if it was not running.
How to configure Zoiper Thunderbird add-on ?
The add-on works for Zoiper Classic as well. If you have both Zoiper Classic Biz and Zoiper Communicator Biz installed on the same computer, or there is a previous installation of Zoiper, the add-on will be associated with the newest installed version.
You will have to decide which version to associate the add-on with.
Go to the main window of the mail client.
Then open the "Tools"menu and select "Add-ons".
Select the "Zoiper" add-on and open its "Options" window.
You will see a new window.
Use "Browse" to select the executable file of the desired application.
Press "OK" to confirm your choice.
Simply close the "Add-ons" window and start using your Thunderbird with Zoiper.
