ZOIPER SOFTPHONE NOW SUPPORTS T.38 FAX OVER IP

Zoiper 2.0 IAX & SIP softphone (previously known as Idefisk) now supports T.38 Fax over IP. Zoiper is a VoIP soft client, meant to work with Asterisk and SIP-capable IP-based communications systems and infrastructure.

Zoiper is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

• Implemented DTMF styles (RFC-2833 and SIP INFO) for SIP accounts;
• Implemented remote transfer requests option;
• Implemented strip dial characters option;

Instructions:

1) Download zoiper202-linux.tar.gz
2) Extract Zoiper. If you don't use a GUI application for archive processing, here is the command line:

tar zxf zoiper202-linux.tar.gz
./zoiper

3) Start Zoiper.

ZoIPer depends on ALSA library, so it *must* be installed!
